Cambridge Partners, Inc.

Website

We have completed an entire new design and code re-write of the Cambridge Partners, Inc. website. We separated out the individual communities into their own domains, creating new, unified design for each, and updating some of the logos. A large part of this project includes re-writing the site in PHP, cleaning up and optimizing the code, doing base SEO and adding functionality to the website.

I took over the maintenance of the Cambridge Partners website in 2006. Since then we have made some improvements to the site, as well as kept up with the continual updates and changes that are inherent in a website for appartment communities.

One of the major things that we did for CPI, was to create an interactive property location map which is tied into Google Maps. This page allows site visitors to view the location of each apartment community, click on the pin to view the full address and get driving directions. When you mouse over a location, the address, phone number, and a thumbnail image of the property pops up like a tool-tip on the map.

We continue to provide web site maintenance services and additional design services for Cambridge Partners, Inc.

Logos

We have begun work on refreshing several of the community logos for Cambridge Partners. Below are the individual logos, and all will be added as they are finalized.

Print

In addition to updates and new content, we also provide design of some of the literature and forms used on the site. An example of one of the Acrobat PDFs is shown on the right. View the full Cambridge Partners Property Location Map (Acrobat PDF - new window).  Using a Google maps image from the customized Google map on the website, we then added in photos for each property along with the address and phone number, and a link to the property's web address for more information.  This PDF is meant to be a downloadable/printable tool for customers to use while visiting apartment communities as a reference.

Forms

Cambridge Partners is a property management group that owns six apartment communities in the Grand Rapids, Michigan area. They needed a new application form that would be up to par with their new web site and that could be completed online and then printed and either faxed or brought into the office. We designed the new form in Adobe InDesign, then printed it to an Acrobat file. Once in Acrobat 7.0, we put in the fields to make it "electronic", allowing the user to fill the form out on their computer, then print/save the form. This version is made available from the website. A purely print/press ready file was also made available to Cambridge Partners for use in the office.
